The Cyber Security BSc at Solent University is an undergraduate course designed to groom the next generation of cyber security professionals. This course provides comprehensive knowledge about how to protect systems and data from cyber threats. It combines theoretical study with practical hands-on experience, working with the same software and systems that professionals use in the industry. Course Content: The Cyber Security BSC course is designed to provide a strong theoretical foundation along with practical skills. In the first year, students get an introduction to computer systems, programming, business and cybersecurity finding. The second year builds on these foundations with digital probe creation, systems attack, threat and cyber resilience. In the final year, students develop cyber forensics capabilities and take part in case studies and comprehensive project work.
