The Accountancy and Finance BSc at Solent University is a full-time three-year course that enables students to understand and apply key concepts within accounting and finance. Students are provided with the skills and knowledge needed to function in today's complex financial environment. Course Content: The course covers a broad variety of topics including corporate taxation, financial management, law, economics, and accounting. In the final year, students can further specialize in areas like financial strategy, auditing, consultancy, or taxation. Students also gain practical finance experience in our industry-standard Bloomberg Suite.Key Modules: Some core modules students encounter include Principles of Accounting, Business and Company Law, Financial Management, Business Environment, Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and business project. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). Future Careers: On successful completion of the course, graduates could gain exemptions from ACCA, ICAEW and CIMA exams.
