The Mechanical Engineering BEng course offered by Solent University integrates a mix of theory and practical work, designed to equip students with the tools, techniques and methods used in the field of mechanical engineering. The programme fully integrates the most current industry thinking, with traditional engineering skills and the latest in advanced technologies.Course Content: The BEng Mechanical Engineering course offers a strong foundation in the core principles of mechanical engineering, exploring areas such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, CAD/CAM, control and instrumentation, and structural and stress analysis.
