MA Fine Art

The Fine Art MA course at Birmingham City University is a uniquely flexible programme geared towards independent artists who wish to develop their practice within a supportive environment. Course Content: The content of the Fine Art MA involves seminars in critical studies, to develop a deeper understanding of contemporary art concepts. Students will be exposed to different resources ranging from specialist art shops to a media store for borrowing a vast range of photographic, digital and traditional media equipment.Key Modules: The key modules include production (both professional and practical), presentation, display and curatorial practices, with individual coaching and mentoring during the development and completion of a Final Major Project (FMP).
