The MSc Social Care, Health and Wellbeing course at the University of Bolton is a full-time program that runs over 12 months, providing students the opportunity to develop their expertise in Health and Social Care. This course allows students to enhance their understanding and skills in addressing the challenges and opportunities within the sector. Course Content: This program covers a wide area of study, the content incorporates managerial decision-making and leadership, research methods for health and social care, governance and quality in health and social care, mental health across lifespan, health promotion and public health, and health and social care integration. The course also includes an opportunity to undertake an independent project whereby students can explore a particular area of interest in depth.Key Modules: Key modules within the course include Managerial Decision Making and Leadership, Understanding Wellbeing, Research Methods for Health and Social Care, Governance and Quality in Health and Social Care, Mental Health Across the Lifespan, Health Promotion and Public Health, and Health and Social Care Integration. Its structure and content are also officially endorsed by the Institute of Biomedical Science.
