The LLB (Hons) Law Full-Time course offered by the University of Bolton is designed to give students a strong foundation in the core legal skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the legal field. This full-time, three-year course is aimed at students who aspire to a professional career in law and want to gain a qualifying law degree. Course Content: The course offers a comprehensive introduction to the nature of law and legal methods, and covers a variety of topics such as contract law, criminal law, EU law, public law, land law, equity and trusts law, among others. It also provides an in-depth understanding of specific issues relating to the theory and practice of law. Students also have the opportunity to choose from a number of specialist options to complement their studies.Key Modules: The key modules include Law of Contract, Criminal Law, Public Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts Law, EU Law, Legal Theories and Concepts, and Dissertation.Accreditations: This course is validated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Bar Standards Board, and is also a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD) for the professional stage of training in both solicitors’ and barristers’ professions.Future Careers: Completing this course can open up a variety of career paths. Graduates can pursue careers as solicitors, barristers, or work in other legal profession roles within the private sector, public sector or the voluntary sector.
