The BSc (Hons) Dental Technology Full-time (3 Years) at the University of Bolton is designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to work efficiently as a dental technologist. Course Content: This course focuses on technical skills in laboratory situations and provides the foundational knowledge for the creation of specially-designed dental appliances. In addition, it fosters managerial abilities to enable successful dental laboratory management. Key Modules: The BSc (Hons) Dental Technology curriculum combines lectures, seminars, workshops, laboratory practical sessions, self-directed study, and work placement opportunities. Key modules include Anatomy and Physiology, Dental Technology Concepts, Dental Materials Science, and Dental Device Designing and Manufacturing. Accreditations: The BSc (Hons) Dental Technology course is delivered in partnership with the NHS and private dental laboratories. It is also recognized by the General Dental Council (GDC), ensuring that the graduates meet the 'Standards for the Dental Team' set by the GDC.
