The BA (Hons) Fine Art course, offered part-time over 4 and a half years on the campus of the University of Bolton, encourages students to explore the fundamental principles of Fine Art and fosters an environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity. Students on this course have the liberty to choose their artistic direction, material specialisms and philosophical stance. Course Content: The program provides a comprehensive education in the methods, logic, and the historical and theoretical contexts of Fine Art. Major areas of study include contemporary art ideas; materials and methods; contextual studies; and individual, negotiated projects.
