BA (Hons) Creative Writing

The BA (Hons) English and Creative Writing is a full-time, three-year course offered by the University of Bolton. This honours degree aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the written English language and its applications, whilst enriching their creative writing skills to become successful storytellers. Course Content: The course is designed to allow students to explore classic and contemporary literature, understand narrative structures, genres and themes while discovering their styles. It involves critical and creative transformations of the texts. The students will also get the chance to work with professional authors, editors, and publishers thereby gaining valuable industry insights.Key Modules: The programme has a vast range of modules including reading and interpreting literature, creative writing, literary analysis, research methods for English, American dreams: American literature 1945 to the present, ghost stories, shakespeakean comedy, women writing/writing women and many more.
