The Business Information Technology course at the University of Kent is a full-time undergraduate program that blends IT, business, and management concepts to prepare students for versatile careers in the field. In the second stage, topics such as systems analysis, computer networks, and project management are tackled. In the final stage, students are given the opportunity to implement their skills in a project and choose electives from an array of topics including e-commerce, business intelligence, and IT service management.Key Modules: There are several key modules covered in the course such as Introduction to Programming, Business Information Systems, Practical Statistics, Systems Analysis and Modelling, Computer Networks and Operating Systems, IT Project Management, Databases and the Web, and E-Commerce. Students are also allowed to choose optional modules in the final stage.Accreditations: The Business Information Technology program at the University of Kent is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT.
