The BA (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Kent is a course that is designed to nurture the budding literary talents of students. It aims to provide the necessary grounding in English literature from the Middle Ages to the present day while allowing students to craft their creative voice via innovative creative writing modules.Course Content: Students will gain critical and creative skills in reading and writing, focusing on novels, drama, and poetry. Besides, there are opportunities to study American literature and other literature from around the world.Key Modules: The key modules include Introduction to Creative Writing, Reading Literature, Victorian Literature, Renaissance Drama, Creative Writing Portfolio, Scriptwriting for Stage and Screen, and Race and American Literature. There are also optional modules, allowing students to tailor the program to their specific interests.Accreditations: The course is accredited by University of Kent.
