The Modern Languages with Film Studies BA course offered at the University of Leicester allows students to choose to study one or two languages along with film studies. Students can select from French, Italian, or Spanish. The course provides students with in-depth knowledge of the language, culture, and people of the chosen languages along with enhancing their understanding of cinema.Course Content: In the first year, students will study basic language modules and Cinematic Visions. Moving on to the second year, students expand their language skills and study screen genres and national cinemas. In the final year, students have the option to undertake a dissertation or final year project on a topic of their interest.
