The International Relations and History BA course at the University of Leicester enables students to study the world's complex issues from the perspectives of history and international relations. The course takes a hands-on approach with plentiful opportunities for experiential learning and research.Course Content: The core course content includes Democracy and Dictatorship in Europe 1918-1989, American Foreign Relations Since 1900, Ends of Empire, Plague, People, and Power, European Integration from 1945 to the Present. Also part of the curriculum are Historical Controversies and Movements, Heroes, and Villains in History. Key Modules: In addition to core course content, students also have the opportunity to choose additional modules. These modules span diverse areas like Intelligence and National Security, Plague, People, and Power, and International Security. Students will develop a solid understanding of current world issues and history through these comprehensive modules. Future Careers: Graduates of this course go on to successful careers in several sectors. This includes roles in government and politics, the civil service, the NGO sector, business, and law.
