LLM Legal Practice

The Postgraduate Legal Practice course at the University of West London is designed for law graduates who aspire to become solicitors. This course provides students with the practical legal skills and broad understanding of the professional and ethical context in which solicitors operate. Course Content: The coursework involves lectures, large group sessions, small group sessions and online and blended learning. The course provides a range of assessments to help students develop a variety of skills necessary to succeed in legal practice.Key Modules: The core modules of the course include Business Law and Practice, Property Law and Practice, Litigation, Drafting, Writing, Advocacy, Interviewing and Advising, Practical Legal Research, Professional Conduct and Regulation and Wills and Administration of Estates. Optional modules may include Employment Law and Practice, Family Law and Practice, Immigration Law and Practice and Private Client.
