BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering undergraduate course offered by the University of West London is structured to cater to the rapidly evolving nature of civil engineering. Course Content: The course includes a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for civil engineering. This includes practical site visits and work placements which are essential for hands-on experience. Key Modules: The course covers key areas such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation systems, water and waste water treatment, and sustainable concrete technology. It also includes integrated designing, surveying and site work, amongst other areas.Accreditations: This course is approved by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) - which includes the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and Institute of Highway Engineers - and is also endorsed by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM). Future Careers: After successfully completing this course, students may pursue careers in a variety of fields which can include being a civil engineer, structural engineer, or a transport planner.
