BA (Hons) Event Management

The Event Management undergraduate course at the University of West London provides a comprehensive understanding of the processes and practices at the core of event management. The course offers a combination of theoretical study and practical hands-on experience so that students acquire the relevant skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career in event management. Course Content: This course includes modules such as Event Planning & Project Management, Live Event Workshop, and Media & Communication for Events. The Year 1 of the course provides students with an introduction to the key concepts in event management. Year 2 introduces more specialist content and in year 3, students can select modules that meet their career aspirations. Key Modules: Some of the key modules in this course include Fundamentals of Event and Entertainment Management, The Event Experience: Design and Innovation, Strategic and Business Events Management, and Entrepreneurship and Small Business Events Management. Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Future Careers: After the completion of the course, students can pursue a variety of roles in event and project management in both the public and private sectors.
