BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences

The Biomedical Sciences undergraduate course offered by the University of Cumbria is a course designed to give students an extensive understanding of the human body at the molecular, cellular, organ, and systems level. The course also focuses on the development of practical and professional skills. Course Content: The course includes studies on the respiratory system, gastrointestinal tracts, hearing and balance, genetic and molecular techniques, and blood sciences. Students will have an understanding of the biochemical interactions and reaction within human cells and tissues, explore the impact of microorganisms on health and the environment, and examine endocrinology and neurobiology.
