The BSc (Honours) Nursing Adult at Sheffield Hallam University is a full-time course that allows students to develop their skills and knowledge to provide quality care, promote health, and manage a wide range of health conditions. The course has a strong practical focus, with half of the course hours dedicated to gaining experience in a variety of different healthcare settings.Course Content: Over the span of this course, students will learn to deliver compassionate and quality care, promote health, manage a wide range of health conditions, hone communication skills, learn to use health and social care information, and integrate correct professional values and behaviours.Key Modules: The modules include: Developing Professionalism and Skills of Assessment in Nursing, An Introduction to Anatomy for Nurses and Midwives, Fundamentals of Person-Centered Nursing Care, Developing Skills in Health Promotion, Acute Illness Management, Chronic Disease Management, and Nursing Practice & Decision Making.Accreditations: The course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and allows students to register as a qualified nurse.Future Careers: The course prepares students for careers as a Registered Nurse in a variety of health and social care settings.
