You will learn to assess the wider economic, legal, social and environmental impacts of your decisions.Key Modules: Key modules include Advanced Inspection Methods, Research Methods, Risks, Methods and Trends, Finite Element Methods (FEM), Business, Employability and Project Management, Marine and Offshore Systems and Design, and Project Dissertation.Accreditations: This MSc is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) on behalf of the Engineering Council for purposes of meeting the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).Future Careers: Upon completion of this course, graduates will have the skills and knowledge to gain positions in companies such as South Boats, International Catamaran Designs, Marine Data Systems, Marine Safety Systems, RNLI, Ministry of Defence, Damen, Malakoff, Red7, Lovegrove or as self-employed Naval Architects or Yacht Designers.
