BSc (Hons) Climate and Environment Sciences

The Climate and Environmental Sciences BSc (Hons) at Liverpool John Moores University is a three-year full-time program that equips students with the scientific understanding and practical skills needed to address critical environmental and climatic issues. The course provides multidisciplinary knowledge from geology, geography, and biology enabling students to grasp the complex nature of environmental issues on a local, national, and global level.Course Content: The course provides a balanced curriculum of geography, biology, and geology that fuels students' passion for the environment. This is enhanced by fieldwork in places such as the Isle of Man, the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and Spain. In their final year, students will undertake various environmental research projects.Key Modules: Practical modules include Biology for Environmental Sciences, the Earth system, Climate and Climate Change. These modules are combined with geographical aspects like Practising Physical Geography, Liverpool Landscapes. Additional modules like Environmental Consultancy provide students with the professional skills needed in the future.
