BA (Hons) Events Management

The Events Management BA (Hons) course at Liverpool John Moores University provides students with the skills and knowledge to plan, manage and evaluate events, ranging from corporate events and festivals to product launches and fashion shows. With a practical learning approach, students will have the opportunity to organize real-life events and develop their professional networks.Course Content: The course combines theoretical learning with event production. It includes both economic and financial aspects, as well as customer experience and event design. Students have the opportunity to develop strong links with industry professionals through guest lectures, field trips and industry accreditation opportunities.Key Modules: The key modules of the program include Events Industry: Professional and Academic Skills, Event Operations Management, Research Methods, Event Experience and Design, and Event Risk and Financial Management. In the final year, students have the opportunity to undertake a Major Project based on their specific area of interest in the event industry.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Institute of Hospitality (IoH), providing credibility and recognition in the hospitality field.
