The Architecture BA (Hons) at Liverpool John Moores University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of architectural design, creating a strong foundation for a successful career in architecture. The course focuses on designing architecture and urban space, and sets individuals up with the key skills needed in the professional world.Course Content: The course delivers a lively mix of practical and academic study, with a strong focus on design. Students will have opportunities to work on a mix of real-life projects alongside theoretical studies, enabling them to experience a holistic view of architecture both in the studio and in the field, as well as through site visits and field trips internationally.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Architectural Design, Technologies and Environments, Architectural Representation, History and Theory, and Professional and Legal Studies. Over the course of your degree, you will be progressively building your portfolio through these modules.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) for Part 1. This means that upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to progress onto Part 2 of an architecture degree, a significant step towards becoming a professional architect.Future Careers: This degree prepares students for a career in architecture and its allied professions.
