BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science

The BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course at the University of Surrey is a three-year full-time programme dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career as a paramedic. Course Content: The Paramedic Science course combines traditional academic study with practical experience. Its curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills needed to provide emergency care and treatment. The course content includes anatomy, physiology, the basis of professional practice, an introduction to the paramedicine, essential clinical skills, and placement experiences. Key Modules: The course includes key modules such as Foundations in Health Sciences, Management of Long-term Conditions in Paramedic Practice, Essential Clinical Skills, Clinical Placement, Public Health & Wellbeing, Advanced Paramedic Skills, Evidence-Based Paramedic Practice and Research Methods.Accreditations: The BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), registering you as a paramedic upon successful completion.
