MSc Microbiology

The Microbiology MSc programme offered by the University of Aberdeen provides specialised training in areas related to infection and immunity. It is a year-long full-time course that explores bacterial, viral and fungal infections and immunity, microbiome and health, antibiotic discovery, and antimicrobial resistance.Course Content: The study programme includes an introductory module in research skills, followed by two semesters of taught classes and a three-month research project that is undertaken during the summer.
