The Ecology and Conservation degree at the University of Aberdeen is a comprehensive exploration of the various ecosystems on Earth, the flora and fauna that call them home, and the threats that they face. This programme combines the principles of animal, plant, and environmental biology to give students a deep understanding of the world's ecological environments. Course Content: The programme is designed to give students a substantial knowledge of ecological science, its guiding principles, and its applications. Students learn about the relationships between plants, animals, and the environment. They are also taught about the different threats these relationships face, like climate change and habitat loss.Key Modules: Some of the major topics included in this course include Understanding the Earth, the Biology of Organisms, Ecology, Evolution and Diversity, Plant Biology, and Global Environmental Issues.
