The joint honours degree programme in Geography and International Relations at the University of Aberdeen is designed to allow students to study the world's major social, political and economic issues, alongside geographical matters. It is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme that is based on a curriculum combining the theories, concepts, and methodologies of geography and international relations.Course Content: The course combines its focus on understanding social, cultural, economic and political related issues with an examination of the ways in which they are spatially structured and interact at various scales. It aims at developing a unique set of skills in its students to look beyond the headlines and understand the world from many different perspectives and at different scales - from the local to the global. Key Modules: Key modules include Human geography, Sustainable international development, Quantitative Methods, International Relations theory, Global Conflict and Peace Process, and Politics and Policies of the European Union among others.
