The Economics BSc course offered by the University of Aberdeen provides a deep understanding of a wide range of economic concepts, methodologies, and techniques, along with the opportunity to specialize in a variety of sectors. Students will learn to assess the economic behavior of individuals, firms, and governments, and to evaluate the efficiency of markets and the impact of a broad range of social and economic policies.Course Content: The study includes the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, the workings of economic institutions, and the influence of public policies. The broad-based curriculum covers areas like banking, finance, public economics, economic policy, and economic history, among others.Key Modules: The first year entails learning the principles of micro and macroeconomics, further deepened in the second year.
