The Human Resource Management (International) course at UWE Bristol is a full-time, one-year program that provides students with a thorough understanding of the key concepts, themes, and practices of Human Resource Management. Students gain the international perspective and application of HRM theory and practice that employers are looking for. Course Content: The course covers the foundations of HRM, business and HR strategy, as well as international and comparative HRM. Students will study contemporary issues in HRM such as talent management, managing change, leadership, ethics, diversity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility and sustainability. The course includes core and optional modules, and the Business Project module, which gives the student opportunity to complete a substantial piece of self-managed research work. Key Modules: Key modules include Foundations of Human Resource Management, Business and HR Strategy, and International and Comparative HRM. Optional units are Managing Change, Leadership and Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Well-being and Performance, and Business Project.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and successful completion of the course leads to Associate membership of the CIPD. Future Careers: This course prepares students for a range of HR roles in international and multinational companies and public sector organizations.
