MSc Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence course at the University of the West of England is a full-time undergraduate program. It is four years in duration when followed with a professional placement. The course strives to introduce students to the principles and methods of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and give them a thorough understanding of the key concepts. Course Content: The first two years of the course cover broad areas of computer science and software engineering. The final two years allow students to focus on AI. Students will get access to the latest tools and data sets, and be taught to use them in AI projects. They also get the skills and knowledge needed to embark on a final year AI project that will showcase their understanding of AI.Key Modules: Key module areas include Mathematics for Computing, Programming Principles, Web Development, Databases and Data Management, Intelligent Machines, Algorithms, Machine Learning, and AI for Data Science.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) and partially fulfils the academic requirement for Chartered IT Professional status.Future Careers: From this course, students can move into a wide variety of careers such as data analyst, software engineer, machine learning engineer, AI consultant, or data scientist.
