It focuses on ensuring students understand the importance of software engineering in the context of business in order to drive efficiency and productivity.Course Content: This course includes a strong computing and business emphasis. The programme offers a comprehensive grounding in software engineering theory, business, and enterprise, providing students with a rich understanding of professional and ethical practice. Key Modules: Key modules include Software Engineering, Data Structures and Algorithms, Network Fundamentals, Computer and Network Infrastructure, and others. There's also an optional 48-week placement in a software engineering business or adherent role. Accreditations: The Software Engineering for Business course is developed in partnership with Tech Partnership – a network of over 60 leading tech employers – and is co-designed by leading employers from digital and tech industries, ensuring it’s aligned with industry standards. Future Careers: Upon finishing this course, graduates can pursue careers in diverse roles, such as software developer, software analyst, project manager, business analyst, and others.
