The Paramedic Science BSc(Hons) at UWE Bristol is a full-time, three-year course equipping students with the practical skills, experience and confidence to succeed as a paramedic. Key Modules: The key modules include Professional Paramedic Practice, Applied Anatomy and Physiology, Essential Skills for Paramedics, Paramedic Practice (Medical), Paramedic Practice (Trauma), Research Methods, Specialist Paramedic Practice, and Paramedic Practice (Clinical Leadership).Accreditations: The Paramedic Science BSc(Hons) course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), ensuring qualifications meet their standards. Graduates from this course are eligible to apply to register as a paramedic with the HCPC.Future Careers: Paramedic Science BSc(Hons) graduates can work as paramedics within ambulance services. Sometimes, with further training, they might also specialize in areas such as critical care or medical education.
