Forensic Science at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is an intensive course that provides students with an in-depth understanding of forensic science and its inherent issues. It covers areas such as chemistry, biology, and law, together with more specific subjects like forensic analysis, crime scene science, and forensic human identification. The course also offers the opportunity to study towards additional professional qualifications alongside your degree. Key Modules: Some key modules that would be covered in this course include Crime Scene Science, Principles of Forensic Identification, Forensic Genetics, Forensic Investigation and Casework Examination, Analytical Chemistry, and Forensic Analysis.Accreditations: The Forensic Science course at UWE Bristol is accredited by The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences.Future Careers: Graduates in this field can find careers in areas such as crime scene investigation, forensic science laboratories, forensic consultancy, and various roles within the legal professions.
