The Politics and International Relations course at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) draws upon various disciplines including politics, international relations, and law to help students analyse global political phenomena. The course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the rapidly changing world of politics and international relations.Course Content: The course covers a wide range of topics including political theory, government, international conflict and cooperation, policy-making, intergovernmental organisations, and laws and justice. The programme encourages students to critically analyse, interpret, and explain the challenges and transformational changes occurring in the world. Students can also choose to study abroad or work on a placement year.Key Modules: The programme is divided into three core modules - Political Ideas, Governments and Power, and International Relations and Global Governance in the first year.
