The Education and Children and Young People's Mental Health course offered by Edge Hill University aims to enhance the understanding and critical awareness of theories, principles and concepts that underpin mental health promotion in educational settings. It also seeks to build the capacity of educators and others involved in strategic and operational initiatives to promote mental health and emotional well-being among children and young people. Course Content: The course content is specially designed to cover various aspects including the role of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), mental health lead and established teachers wishing to develop their knowledge of this important area.
