The Environmental Science and Outdoor Education undergraduate programme offered by the University of Stirling is a unique blend that combines two complementary subjects - environmental science and outdoor education - to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to address contemporary environmental challenges while also being able to communicate these issues effectively to a wider audience. Course Content: This course includes the critical scientific study of the biosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and geosphere, and how these systems interact. It also includes a study of how people interact with these environmental systems and how we can live sustainably within them. Through outdoor education, students will be able to hone in their practical skills and be able to understand, respond and adapt to changing environments.
