MFA Fine Arts

The Kingston University Fine Art MFA course is a two-year course which encourages diverse thinking and experimentation in contemporary visual arts. This course offers a dynamic and exciting environment for studying the critical practice of fine art. Notably, the programme supports the development of student's practical, professional, and intellectual skills throughout their course.Course Content: The course content includes acquiring a deeper understanding of the professional and academic contexts of contemporary art, developing individual creative abilities, understanding the global issues affecting the fine arts, and preparing for the professional art world.Key Modules: The course features modules such as Professional and Academic Contexts, Global Intersections and Practices, and Independent Research Project.Future Careers: Upon completion of the course, students will be equipped to exhibit their work, to teach in higher education, or to work as artist’s assistants, curators, or illustrators.
