The BSc (Hons) Psychology with Criminology at Kingston University is a three-year full-time course that combines the study of psychology and criminology. It provides an in-depth understanding of the human mind and human behaviour, alongside the study of crime, criminalisation, victimisation and the criminal justice system. Course Content: The course primarily provides students with thorough knowledge and understanding of psychological theory and practice. Alongside this, it focuses on criminological theories and the functioning of the criminal justice system. The course aims to develop critical analytical skills essential for understanding behaviour in a criminological context. Key Modules: Key modules in this course include Introduction to Social and Developmental Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, Criminal Justice: Process, Policy, Practice, and Applied Forensic Psychology. In the final year, students also have the opportunity to undertake a research project on a criminology topic of their choice.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society.
