Kingston University offers a three-year, full-time undergraduate course in Architecture. Course Content: The curriculum encompasses the sophisticated technical and professional skills of architecture within a wider social, historical, and environmental context. The first year focuses on understanding and representing the principles of architectural design, covering visualisation, modelling, drafting, construction concepts and the interpretation and arrangement of spaces. During the second and third years, students are encouraged to explore and develop their unique architectural styles. They are also equipped with skills in designing buildings, urban design, sustainability, interior design, landscape, and city planning. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) for the purpose of exemption from part 1 of the professional examination for architects in the UK. The course is also validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
