Integrated Master in Science: Actuarial Science and Data Science

The Integrated Master in Science, Actuarial Science and Data Science is a comprehensive course offered by the University of Essex. This four-years full-time undergraduate course is designed to equip students with mathematical and statistical modelling techniques used in the actuarial profession, and provide them with a dataset analysis skill. The course provides a solid grounding in the skills needed to analyse data for commercial and scientific purposes and meets the rigorous demands of modern-day data science.Course Content: The course combines classification and prediction algorithms, data visualisation, applied statistics and probability, programming in Python, and financial mathematics and modelling.
