BEng (Hons.) Renewable Energy Engineering

The BEng (Hons) Renewable Energy Engineering course from Robert Gordon University (RGU) is a four-year full-time program, designed to educate students on the principles and practices of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering with a specific focus on renewable energy resources and technologies.Course Content: The course equips students to design, test, and refine energy solutions, integrating a range of renewable technologies to meet the power needs of our society. It covers advanced engineering topics along with core modules that provide a solid base in electrical and mechanical engineering. Students also have access to RGU's energy dedicated labs and specialist software.Key Modules: The key modules covered include Mathematics, Engineering Principles, Electrical and Electronic Principles, Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Design, Renewable Energy Technologies and Systems, Engineering Management, and a Research Project in their final year. Accreditations: This course is fully accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and the Energy Institute (EI). It also meets the academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status.
