MSc Political Research

The Political Research Postgraduate course offered by the University of Strathclyde is designed for students interested in the application of rigorous, in-depth research methods to politics. Students will also learn how to effectively collect, analyse and interpret a broad range of data types, and put them to use in assessing complex social, economic, and political issues. Key Modules: The course features modules like Qualitative Methods, Quantitative Methods, and Comparative Public Policy. It also includes a dissertation, which is an extended piece of academic writing (15,000 words) that deals with a particular topic in depth. Future Careers: Graduates of this programme frequently move on to a PhD-level study.
