The Masters in Design Engineering at Strathclyde University is a full-time, one-year programme designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex design and technological challenges in today's fast-paced industrial environment. The course provides a blend of technical engineering, design creativity and management skills to give students an edge in the design engineering field.Course Content: The programme is divided into two semesters followed by a summer project. In Semesters 1 and 2, students undertake compulsory classes and a choice of an optional class. The summer project allows students to apply their learning to a design engineering challenge and includes elements of project management, team working and report writing.Key Modules: Key modules include Industrial Design Engineering, Neural Networks & Artificial Intelligence, Design Techniques, Advanced Computer-Aided Design, Advanced CAD, Advanced Manufacture, and Design Management.
