MPhysics

The MPhys in Physics at the University of Strathclyde is a five-year integrated Masters degree. The course is designed for those students who want to extend their interests in Physics beyond the level of a Bachelors degree. It provides students with in-depth knowledge and understanding of Physics concepts, theories, and practices. Course Content: The MPhys Physics degree course offers a broad-based education in physics with the potential to specialize in a variety of areas. In the first two years, students will concentrate on the principles of physics, computational physics, and mathematics. From third year, students will choose to specialize in applied, experimental or theoretical physics. Fifth-year students undertake a major project, working within a research group.Key Modules: Some of the key modules of this course include Quantum Physics, Mathematical Methods, Computational Physics, Complex Variables, Statistical Physics, Nuclear & Particle Physics, and many more.
