Mlitt Interdisciplinary English Studies

The Interdisciplinary English Studies course is a postgraduate programme offered by the University of Strathclyde. This unique programme will provide students with a wealth of knowledge by combining various academic fields to understand English in a more comprehensive manner. The course provides avenues to explore three major strands of English: Literatures, Language & Linguistics, and Creative Writing. Course Content: The curriculum allows students to create a bespoke programme by choosing modules that interest them while also offering flexibility to study full-time, part-time and/or distance learning.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Modern English Language, Romanticism, The Gothic Imagination, Victorian Literature, Classical Hollywood Cinema, Shakespeare, Modernist Fiction, Creative Writing Fiction Workshop, among others.Future Careers: This course prepares students for a range of careers in several sectors, including teaching, journalism, cultural heritage and the arts, academic roles, or any roles where excellent language or analytical skills are required.For more information on this course, please visit the official course page.
