MEng Electrical & Mechanical Engineering

The undergraduate course "Electrical and Mechanical Engineering MEng" offered by Strathclyde University, is designed to equip students with a broad foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering, including exposure to micromechanics, thermo-fluids, and advanced robotics. Additionally, students have the opportunity to be well-versed in advanced areas such as spacecraft propulsion and digital signal processing.Course Content: The course combines the principles of mechanical engineering technology and practical instruction on the design and manufacturing aspects of electrical components and systems. Students will gain the technical knowledge in mechanical design and thermal processes, while exploring smaller scale electronic circuits and systems, including the elements of computer systems. The course incorporates lectures, web-based interaction, individual and group project work, and lab work. Key Modules: Some of the major subjects covered in this course include Dynamics & Control, Electrical Circuits, Mechatronics, Thermodynamics, and Materials & Manufacturing.
