The Human Rights Law course is one of the postgraduate courses offered by the University of Strathclyde. It gives the students a chance to study Human Rights Law at an advanced level in a challenging - but supportive - environment. The course offers flexibility with a wide range of different units.Course Content: The course includes modules on comparative human rights law, international law of human rights, regional systems of human rights protections, theories and philosophies of human rights and social research. Students will have the chance to gain a sound knowledge of the legal and theoretical issues in this area. They will be able to read a wide range of primary legal materials and to make their own interpretation from them. Future Careers: Graduates of this course can pursue a wide range of careers in Human Rights Law including within non-governmental organisations, government, diplomacy, international organisations, corporations, and academia.
