The Law with Spanish course at the University of Strathclyde offers students a unique blend of subjects that will further their understanding of legal practices, while enhancing their language skills in Spanish. This degree also provides the opportunity to study abroad, allowing students to immerse themselves in a Spanish-speaking country to hone their linguistic skills and gain international exposure.Course Content: The course is designed in a way that combines both Law and Spanish subjects. In the first two years, students will learn general law courses and Spanish whereas, in the third and fourth years, they get to opt for specialist law subjects and continuation of Spanish. In year three, students will spend a full year abroad to study Law or related subjects in a Spanish-speaking country.Key Modules: There are several important modules to enhance the students' knowledge in both law and language including Criminal Law, European Union Law, Law & Society, and Spanish language of different levels.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland which provides graduates the opportunity to enter into the Scottish legal profession.Future Careers: Graduates will be prepared to explore career opportunities in legal practices, public services, international organizations, and the business sector, in both the UK and Spain.
