BSc (Hons) Mathematics, Statistics & Economics

The undergraduate Mathematics, Statistics & Economics course at the University of Strathclyde provides students with a unique opportunity to study a combination of mathematical, statistical and economic analytical techniques. This course has a year-long duration and starts in September.Key Modules: The course consists of stages 1 to 4. In Stage 1, students learn about Analysis, Algebra, Modelling and Problem-Solving, Probability & Statistics, and Economic Principles. Stage 2 takes students through Real Analysis, Multivariable and Vector Analysis, Statistical Theory & Methods, and Macroeconomics & Microeconomics. The third stage covers Probability & Statistics, Mathematics, and Economics while Stage 4 is a Project Stage.Future Careers: Graduates from this program can apply the quantitative skills and economics knowledge they have developed to numerous real-world situations.
