The Education & Curricular Studies with Teaching Qualification is an undergraduate program at the University of Strathclyde. This four-year program offers an opportunity to explore education, teaching and the specific curriculum area of your interest. Course Content: The first two years of the course focus mainly on educational studies and the chosen curriculum subject. During the last two years, teaching modules will be introduced along with professional experience. Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Comparative Education, Policy, and Practice; Curriculum Studies; Educational Studies; Critical Literacy; and an option to select from a range of specialist subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English, History, Modern Languages, etc.Accreditations: On successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to register with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).
