BA (Hons) Spanish & Human Resource Management

The Spanish and Human Resource Management course is an undergraduate program offered by Strathclyde University. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of Human Resource Management (HRM) principles and practices, as well as a high-standard of Spanish language skills, allowing them to gain proficiency in HRM in a global and multilingual context. Course Content: The course comprises a blend of lectures, tutorials and practical language classes. They also become proficient in Spanish through detailed language modules. Key Modules: The key modules include Human Resource Management and Spanish. Under HRM students learn about Employee Resourcing, Developing People and Organisations, HRM in a Business Context, Employment Law, and Research Methods in HRM. Under Spanish, students study Spanish 1A/1B, Spanish Culture and History, Contemporary Spanish Society: Challenges and Trends, among other modules. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). On successful completion of the program, students receive Graduate Membership of CIPD. Future Careers: Graduates of this course often find employment in HRM roles within diverse firms and sectors both in the UK and abroad.
